There will be a meeting tomorrow (Monday 2nd July) at 4.30pm in O' Donovan's
Hotel with Minister Brian Hayes for businesses affected by the flooding.
Brian
Hayes is the Minister with responsibility for the OPW who are in charge of
flood prevention works. Minister Hayes has is also in ongoing discussions with
Insurance companies regarding those who cannot get cover in Flood affected
areas. The aim of the meeting is for the Minister to hear of the difficulties
experienced by businesses who cannot get Insurance cover or who may not
get cover following the events of last week.
