The gloomy wet weather has not stopped the clients of
Courtmacsherry Angling from having good fishing.
The fish caught the last week
include Ling to 23lbs from an offshore wreck,Shark to 2.1m, and in the bay good
Pollack, Cod, Conger, Ling, Bullhuss, Dogfish, Cuckoo wrasse, Ballan
wrasse, Pouting, Mackerel, Dabs, Gurnard, Coalfish,and Thornback Ray to 14lbs.
In the
Estuary the Bass anglers had good sport last weekend with a group of English
anglers catching plenty of Bass on live sandeel. Other anglers trolling lures
and spinning from the shore also did well.
